This gallery has images that will show various stages of how the Kids Portrait was painted.
I use the photo as a guide to create a composite layout in Photoshop. I then draw a sketch using the composite as a guide.
The digital sketch is then imported to Painter and I start to paint in the gray under-painting.
Looking at the photo for reference, I then paint in layers of color. Having the ability to zoom in means I can achieve very fine painted details, especially in the eyes and hair.
After clicking on an image, use your arrow keys on the keyboard to step through the images in order.
